Support Line for Access to Safe Abortion
You have the right to decide freely whether and when to have children. This includes the right to safe abortion, provided in a timely manner, with respect, and without obstacles. No one has the right to harm you or pressure you. You know best what to do and what your life situation calls for. However, women in Slovakia have to overcome many obstacles in accessing abortion care, including a lack of information.
To make access to safe abortion easier, we have set up a support helpline. If you need information or advice on reproductive health, including safe abortion, you can contact us.
Do you need information about where abortions are performed?
Do you need advice on how to find the money for an abortion?
Do you need advice about contraception?
The helpline is staffed by caring, qualified people trained not only in sexual and reproductive health, but also in social counseling, crisis response, and psychotherapy.
Operating hours:
Monday – Wednesday: from 14:00 to 18:00
Thursday: from 09:00 to 13:00
What We Can Help With:
✅ Providing information about abortion, the procedure involved, and the legal conditions for accessing it.
✅ Providing contacts for medical facilities where abortions are performed, support in communicating with them, and, if needed, direct representation on your behalf.
✅ Providing supportive and confidential counseling (we trust our clients and support them in making their own decisions).
✅ Providing crisis support, stabilization, phone support, and help in crisis situations.
✅ Consultations on possible ways to finance an abortion.
